Dr Grace Eden conducts practice-based research with a focus on interaction design and user experience to investigate the effects of technology on human behaviour, communication and social interaction. She uses qualitative fieldwork methods to understand the implications of how new technologies transform social life and people’s day-to-day lives. A key objective in her work is to understand how complex systems might be successfully embedded into workplaces, leisure environments and domestic settings working directly with stakeholders. Dr Eden is an Assistant Professor at the Human-Centered Design Department Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi teaching Human-Centred AI, Human-Computer Interaction and Design Futures.
