Julia Paramonova

UX researcher and designer / PhD fellow

Julia Paramonova is a user experience researcher and designer with a diverse background, blending academic rigour with hands-on consulting experience. Her expertise lies in exploring and applying innovative research and design methodologies to create trustworthy complex systems that bridge the gap between advanced technology and user needs. She specialises in generative research and co-creation strategies for designing these systems.

As a researcher at the Human Interaction Lab at Tallinn University, Julia contributes to an EU healthcare project developing AI-based tools for early dementia diagnosis. As a lecturer, she shares her knowledge by teaching research and design methods, helping shape the next generation of UX professionals.

Julia is currently pursuing her PhD in Information Society Technologies at Tallinn University and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction.
